Meiji Gummy Choco

明治チョコグミ

Meiji's Gummy Choco is a popular one with having many choices of flavors such as apple, peach, strawberry, melon and even a mixture of all four.

Gummy Choco can also be purchased in a tube for £2.50/$4 for 50g.

The flavors I purchased are strawberry and melon gummies covered with white and a outside layer of milk chocolate.

To be honest they were pretty tasty! The inner layer of white chocolate reminded me of a kinder egg, but I won't go as far as to say it tasted like one ;) I definitely would purchase the strawberry flavor again!

Attack On Titan Hi-Chew

Attack on Titan Hi-Chew

進撃の巨人ハイチュウ

What I've really enjoyed doing the past couple of years is looking at merchandise and goods that Japan has to offer. Certainly in England there's not much choice of Attack on Titan style food, stationary, toys or even clothing for that matter. So eBay and Japanese websites are always good to go to when I'm stocking up on anything I love. But as I was browsing through the internet for Attack on Titan goods, I came across the Hi-Chew x Attack on Titan collaboration and immediately I was like...

I searched high and low for a good price, but because I'm so forgiving and a sucker for anything to do with Attack on Titan I had to give in and buy a pack for a whopping £8/$12 on eBay! Hell, it was worth it when it arrived on my doorstep a week later. The Hi-Chew I received was grape flavored and had Erwin Smith on the packaging. There is also a grape flavored version with Levi and I think there's a Hanji version too (I haven't seen it) but I'm assuming there's a Hanji version as each packet can come with one of three awesome tins of Erwin, Levi and Hanji.

Hello Kitty Hada Labo Lotion

Hello Kitty Hada Labo Kiwamizu Lotion by Rohto

Hada Labo has teamed up with Hello Kitty to celebrate her 40th anniversary by releasing a lotion containing hyaluronic acid to instantly give moisture to your face after cleansing and to remove any make-up or impurities. The multi-mineral Kiwamizu lotion is designed for daily use, giving the skin superb hydration and balancing PH levels. It's perfect for those with sensitive skin, free of fragrances and dyes.

There are 3 cute designs to choose from (the design I chose was type 3) and can be purchased from Japan on eBay for around £10/$15 for a 180ml bottle.

I have used a lot of toners in the past and I'm kind fond of softening toners. The Hada Labo Kiwamizu lotion is hydrating and but doesn't reep many other benefits. But I'd highly recommend it for somebody with sensitive skin and for those who want a basic toner with their daily skincare routine.

"To fulfil the commitment of healthy and perfect skin, Hada Labo emphasises simplicity in its skin care process, removing all the unnecessary additives, colourant, fragrance and mineral oil that will burden the skin. Only the finest, purest and highly effective ingredients that are beneficial to the skin are retained to ensure maximum effectiveness. Only the best for your skin and nothing else. Now, you can truly enjoy a perfect and simple lifestyle, confidently."
